About Me
When I was young, I always gravitated toward helping others who needed assistance. I have been a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for over 15 years, specializing in medical based therapy. I have a passion for treating children with orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as empowering caregivers and families to help their little ones reach their fullest potential.
I am a board certified pediatric occupational therapist through the American Occupational Therapy Association and am certified in pediatric NeuroDevelopmental Treatment. I have worked in both private practice as well as at NYU’s Rusk Rehabilitation where I was a clinical specialist. I am licensed in both New York and Connecticut.
I have a strong background in treating children with developmental delays, brachial plexus injuries, torticollis, cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, and orthopedic injuries. I specialize in creating custom upper extremity orthoses (splints), constraint and serial casting, therapeutic taping, and custom durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs and bathing equipment. I have lectured both nationally and internationally and enjoy teaching and networking with others.
On a personal note, I have two children and a dog. I enjoy seeing friends and family, going to the beach, skiing, snowboarding, and relaxing at home.
